Candle Care
Preparation
Did your candle finish? No worries! Order a refill of your favorite scent. Place it inside your Mistyque Pot and let the new journey begin!
Light & Enjoy
Wood wicks sometimes need more than one attempt to light up! Don't worry; wood just likes a little extra care, and it will light wonderfully!
Safety First
When the wood wick reaches its metallic base, it's a sign that there's only 1/2 inch of wax remaining. Stop burning your candle and let the wax set. It's time to refill!
How To Refill?
Prepare The Pot
Option 1 - Freezer
Place the Mistyque Pot inside the freezer for 20 minutes.
Option 2 - Hot Water
Fill a heatproof bowl halfway with warm water and add a dash of cold water. IMPORTANT-Avoid using boiling water, as it can damage or crack your Mistyque Pot.
Soften The Wax
Option 1 - Freezer
Once removed from the freezer, use a sharp tool, such as a knife, to start cracking the wax from the edges as if you're cutting a pizza. The wax will crack into pieces, making it easy to remove.
Option 2 - Hot Water
Place your Mistyque Pot into the bowl, ensuring the water is not boiling and the pot is at room temperature to prevent cracking. After 2-3 minutes, the edge of the wax will start to melt.
Remove The Wax
Option 1 - Freezer
Great! Now that the wax has cracked, you might find both large and small chunks of wax remaining in the pot. Dispose of these by placing them in the bin before moving on to cleaning.
Option 2 - Hot Water
Gently press down on the edge of the wax, and it will pop out like a disc. Remove any excess wax with a paper towel. You can use a wet paper towel to help clean.
Clean The Pot
Option 1 - Freezer
Use a paper towel to clean any excess residue. Then, wash the pot with warm soapy water, avoiding hot water.
Your Mistyque Pot will be ready to refill and continue spreading delightful fragrances!
Option 2 - Hot Water
Wash your Mistyque Pot with warm soapy water, avoiding hot water. Once all excess wax has been removed, your pot will be ready to refill!
